A lot of people have been asking me lately where do I get my infromation from, how am I so up to date on politics….well I decided to give a quick guide for anyone that is interested (I won’t give all my secrets of course but these are a good start, haha)…

Online Web sites

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ – I like when news sites post facts that back up their claims

http://moveon.org/ – A good progressive site that fights for the middle class

http://factcheck.org/ – Wanna make sure what you hear is true? Go right here. This site is a non-partisian site that gets right down to the facts

http://www.ontheissues.org/default.htm – Go here to
find out were your local and natinal politicians stand on many issues

Magazines and News Letters

http://www.progressive.org/ – a cheap subscrition with a lot of good insight

http://motherjones.com/ – this bi-monthly magazine is nearly 80 pages and is well worth the extra month wait

http://www.washingtonspectator.org/index.cfm – this 4 page news letter comes every other week and gives some good inside info on news you won’t hear from your local tv and radio broadcasts

http://www.congressionaldigest.com/ – just got my first issue, great inside look at what is getting passed and what’s not in congress

http://www.thenation.com/ – waiting on my first issue, i’ve heard a lot about this straight to the FACTS in your face magazine!
