Fox News and the Right are at it again

Here we go again. As you know by now unless you have been living under a rock somewhere, an oil rig exploded of the gulf of mexico and is spilling oil out and an alarming rate of 5,000 barrels a day all through the Gulf and up the east coast to the point that fishing is being banned from Florida to Louisiana. Just days later President Obama made his way to the Gulf of Mexico and made a speech. In the speech he banned any future oil drilling until the spill was taken care of, made it clear that BP would be responsible for the financial side of the disaster. Now I turned on Fox News for some reason and saw former White House Press Secretary for George Bush and current political commenter, Dana Perino, and she stated that it was President Obama’s fault for the spilling and also that it was very possible that it could have been a sabotage on Obama’s part. Is she serious? All Does Fox News and the wacky right have to stoop to new lows with every passing day? Really, President Obama spilled this? Look in the mirror, it’s the crazy oil drilling republications that push this through. President Obama did approve new offshore drilling projects just a few weeks ago, however, President Obama has made it clear that the drilling needs to be regulated and that he is also a big supported of other sources of energy as well. Fox News and the rest of the conservative world needs to step back and stop trying to cause more unwanted and unneeded problems especially when there are real issues right in front of us.
